30 Sep Tips to stop you suffering from social media burnout
Social media can sometimes feel like a dark place. We are being visually bombarded 24/7 with information that can feel a little/a lot overwhelming.
So, it is important that you do what you can to protect your mental health, and maintain a balance between being present on social media for the purposes of work versus doomscrolling.
And there’s no better time for us to share our tips to keep you protected, as this week (26th September – 2nd October 2022) is International Week of Happiness at Work –
TURN IT OFF – close your social tabs, apps and windows when you’re not actively using them.
Limit your time DOOMSCROLLING in the name of ‘work’ (we’re all guilty of doing it!).
Take REGULAR BREAKS from your pages – that message will still be there in an hour. It’s not urgent enough to exhaust yourself over.
PACE YOURSELF NOW so you have the energy you need for bigger things.
If you are finding that you’ve hit a bit of a creative wall with your socials, go back to basics –
– Who are you talking to?
– Why are you asking for their attention?
– What can you provide them?
– Where can they find it?
Remember, to create what you enjoy, and pull inspiration from the content that makes you happy.
If you’re still finding it all a bit too much, we’re here to help. Book a free 45-minute consultation and we can talk through your social media channels and strategy in more detail.
